Starts/Sits for Thursday Night Fantasy Football

I just have to say really quickly, I can’t believe we are now entering week two of the NFL season. It felt like not too long ago it was summer and I was doing analysis for fantasy football, but was also just eager for the NFL season to start. Now not only are we here, but we are in week two!

Alright I am done reminiscing let’s get into it!

I just have to say this one is going to be an exciting game. We have the Washington Commanders at the Green Bay Packers. This has the chance to be a real high scoring game which means you are going to want options for fantasy football in this one.

STARTS

Terry McLaurin - WR Commanders

I know he disappointed in the game against the Giants, but give him some slack, he missed all of the off-season which includes OTA’s, and training camp. He was a little rusty, but Jayden Daniels did miss him on some throws that could have changed the outcome for him.

I expect a bounce back game for Terry McLaurin.

Deebo Samuel - WR Commanders

I have to say Deebo looked really good in the 1st game against the Giants. The Commanders love to utilize screen passes and Deebo is perfect for that type of offense. Deebo just looks like he fits really well in this offensive scheme, and he is already showing he is still that guy.

Don’t sit Deebo for this game.

Jayden Daniels - QB Commanders

Do I even really need to discuss this one. You drafted Jayden Daniels to be your starting QB and that is what you are going to do, start him! Dual threat QB who has great passing ability as well.

Jacory Croskey Merritt - RB Commanders

BILL looked really good in the game against the Giants. Although this game against the Packers is going to be tough, I do think BILL has flex appeal for this week. I believe the Commanders will give him more of the snaps and on an offense like the Commanders, he could come away with a TD in this one.

Josh Jacobs - RB Packers

There is no one else on the Packers who will be contending for touches in this backfield. Josh Jacobs is a strong start, and I expect him to find the end-zone once again in this game against the Commanders.

Jordan Love - QB Packers

Jordan Love had a solid week last week against the Lions, but I think the Commanders will put up a bit more of a fight, which could mean Jordan Love is throwing the ball a bit more in this game. Still no definitive WR1 on this offense, but that won’t stop Jordan Love from throwing some nice TD passes.

Tucker Kraft - TE Packers

Not my favorite TE to start just because the targets are really spread around on this team, but he does seem to be a nice red-zone target for Jordan Love, and once again in a game where I expect this to be somewhat high scoring, Tucker Kraft could come away with another TD like he did against the Lions.

These are all my STARTS for tonight. If the name wasn’t listed, than I am really not that interested in starting that particular player.

Really appreciate you if you made it this far. I will catch you in the next one!
