❌ Avoid These Picks In Every Round (Rounds 10 → 1)
After running countless mock drafts and digging into the data, I’ve built a list of the worst pick you can make in each round, counting down from 10 to 1.
Let’s save you from some profound regret this season. 👇
🔟 Round 10: Luther Burden
Crowded WR room in Chicago.
DJ Moore and Rome Odunze are ahead of him, and volume is a real issue.
The talent’s real — the opportunity isn’t.
9️⃣ Round 9: Rashid Shaheed
New QB. New system. Unknown role.
If your name isn’t Alvin Kamara, I am not interested.
Too many question marks to trust.
8️⃣ Round 8: Cooper Kupp
Hasn’t been healthy for 3 years.
Now with Seattle and a brand-new system.
The name value is still there, but the ceiling isn’t.
7️⃣ Round 7: Jayden Reed & Matthew Golden
Can you confidently say who the WR1 is in Green Bay?
This is still an offense that is led by Josh Jacobs.
You’re playing roulette with your lineup every week.
6️⃣ Round 6: Joe Burrow
Still a great passer — but no rushing upside.
Not saying he won’t be a good passer, but what if he has just a little regression.
I would rather wait and draft guys like Bo Nix who go way later.
5️⃣ Round 5: Rome Odunze
Everyone’s predicting a breakout, but…
He got worse in the 2nd half of 2024 (despite more targets)
Chicago added two more pass-catchers in the 2025 Draft
DJ Moore is still the WR1
The breakout hype feels premature.
4️⃣ Round 4: James Cook
Playing under 50% of snaps.
20th in carries. 32nd in targets.
He’s being drafted like a workhorse… but he’s not.
I’d rather grab Chuba Hubbard who goes a bit later.
3️⃣ Round 3: Marvin Harrison Jr.
Unchanged offense, unclear usage.
Too many vertical routes and a QB I still don’t trust in Kyler Murray.
WR14 feels way too rich for his production in 2024.
2️⃣ Round 2: Brock Bowers
Love the talent, but this is not the same raiders as last year:
New coaching staff
Ashton Jeanty in the backfield
2 WRs added in the draft
Way too much uncertainty for a 2nd-round pick.
1️⃣ Round 1: Ashton Jeanty
Not a knock on Ashton Jeanty, but I want a bit of a safer option.
He is still a rookie, and that alone gives me concern especially for a first round pick.
✅ Bottom Line:
It’s not that these are necessarily bad picks, it is more so due to the fact that there is too much risk with not enough upside associated with these players.
