You need to START these players if you have them on your fantasy team

When I say start these players I am saying that these players have both good matchups, and the game script will allow these players to thrive with good fantasy performances. Let’s get into it.

Tetairoa McMillan

The Panthers are playing the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday and Tetairoa McMillan has been a rookie that I have been big on all off-season. This is likely going to be a neutral game script/playing from behind for the Panthers and this could be an environment where the Panthers will likely have to pass the ball a lot.

I like the odds for McMillan and he could see north of 10 targets in this game. He is a must start player if you have him, he has top 12 upside this week for fantasy.

Jerry Jeudy

Let’s be honest the Browns are not the greatest football team, in fact they are probably one of the worst teams in the NFL right now, but this matchup is considered a fantasy goldmine especially for the pass catchers. The Browns are going up against the Bengals who will likely dominate this game. The Browns will probably be playing from behind the entire game which will force the Browns to throw the ball. This is another prime matchup for Jerry Jeudy, and a game script where he could be very fantasy productive due to sheer passing volume.

You likely drafted Jerry Jeudy at the price of a flex, and he is a great flex option for this week.

Zay Flowers

This might be one of the only game scripts where the Ravens will be forced to pass the ball a lot. If you don’t remember the Ravens ran the ball a lot last year, having the 2nd lowest passing volume overall. This is because the Ravens are basically favored in every matchup, but against the Bills for week 1, this will be the only time where the Ravens are not favored.

Zay Flowers was solid last year, but in a game script like this, Zay Flowers could see north of 10 targets and could produce in fantasy based on passing volume alone. Zay Flowers is again the perfect flex play, and once again you likely drafted him at that price.

Emeka Egbuka

If you couldn’t already tell, I really like Emeka Egbuka for Fantasy Football. He will be bolstered into a starting role for Tampa, and will likely at the very least be the WR2 on this team. This will be a high scoring game, and Atlanta does not have a great secondary. Egbuka will likely be playing in the Chris Godwin role, playing out of the slot, and he could see a lot of target volume this week.

Both Egbuka and Mike Evans could see 25% target shares each in this game. I would be looking to start both Egbuka and Mike Evans this week.

David Njoku

The tight end for the Browns, like before how I spoke about Jerry Jeudy, it is the same story for David Njoku. He has been a consistent target earner on this team, and I don’t see this changing all that much. In a game script where the Browns will be passing the ball, Njoku could make a big impact in fantasy.

Kenneth Walker

The 49ers don’t have the best run defense in the league, which will help out Kenneth Walker in this game. Kenneth Walker is a guy I liked in the off-season with the way Klint Kubiak has been talking about how he will play a big role. This is the type of game where K9 could shine.

You likely drafted Kenneth Walker in the 4th round of your fantasy draft, so do not sit him this week.

Alvin Kamara

The Saints project to be one of the worst offenses in the NFL for week 1, but this doesn’t matter for Kamara since he will not only get all of the rushing work, but he will get very involved in the passing game as well. Kamara has been a PPR merchant in years past and I don’t expect this to change all that much this year.

James Conner

The Cardinals will likely dominate the Saints this week. This will benefit James Conner in the run game as the Cardinals will likely get to run the ball mostly in the 2nd half of this game. James Conner could likely finish as a top 10 RB this week due to the fact that the Cardinals will likely score a lot of touchdowns against the Saints this week.

Trevor Lawrence

Quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars project to be the 7th highest scoring offense this week. Because of this I think Trevor Lawrence has a great game, and good fantasy production for this week against the Panthers.

With a new coach in Liam Coen, and a good surrounding cast of players, I think Trevor Lawrence will get it right for this game.

Bryce Young

I said to start Tetairoa McMillan this week, well we are also going to start the QB this week as well. I think the Panthers have a good game against the Jaguars. Both the Panthers and the Jaguars defense are not that great, so this game has high scoring potential.

Bryce Young for me like Trevor Lawrence is a strong streaming option this week for fantasy football.

Really appreciate you if you read up to this point. I will catch you guys in the next one.
