Saquon Barkley’s first season in Philadelphia has lived up to the hype as the three-time Pro Bowler continued to impress on Sunday in the Eagles’ Divisional Round victory over the Los Angeles Rams at Lincoln Financial Field.
Barkley totaled 205 rushing yards on 26 carries and two rushing touchdowns, including a 78-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Both of the veterans’ touchdowns on Sunday were over 60 yards, which means Barkley became the only player in NFL history with four touchdowns of 60+ yards against one team in a single season, as his other two touchdowns against the Rams were back on Week 12.
It’s no surprise that Barkley has been exceptional for the Eagles this season, as he had 2,005 rushing yards on 345 carries, 13 touchdowns, and averaged 5.8 yards per carry. The 27-year-old set his highest rushing yard average, total rushing yards, and rushing touchdowns this season. Barkley’s performance led to his third Pro Bowl selection and first All-Pro this year since joining the league in 2018.
Saquon and the Eagles will get a crack at the NFC Championship next week, where they will host their divisional rival, Washington Commanders, for a chance to play in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. We can expect Barkley to continue to dominate and help give his team a chance to play for their first championship since the 2017 season.

With Barkley’s impressive 2025 campaign, we can expect the veteran to be a top-three pick in most fantasy redraft leagues next season. Saquon was the RB2 this year among all running backs in the NFL. He finished with 355.3 total fantasy points and had the highest fantasy point-per-game average at 22.2 for all running backs in the league.
If Saquon is on the clock in the first round of next year's fantasy draft, don't think twice about drafting him. Barkley has established himself as one of the league's best running backs and fantasy players this season.
