Fantasy Football Watchlist: 2025 NFL Draft Prospects to Know

As the 2025 NFL Draft approaches, fantasy football enthusiasts are eyeing a new class of talent poised to make an impact. Here's a breakdown of top prospects to monitor:

Running Backs

Ashton Jeanty (Boise State)

We all know Jeanty had a historic season in 2024 with Boise State, and Jeanty could hit the ground running in 2025 in the NFL and will be one of the only RBs in this draft to be guaranteed an RB1 workload.

Omarion Hampton (North Carolina)

Hampton amassed 1,660 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns in 2024, averaging 5.9 yards per carry. We will be watching him closely. Should Hampton land on a team like Denver or Dallas, this will be good for his fantasy value.

Bhayshul Tuten (Virginia Tech)

Tuten is legitimately one of the fastest Running Backs in this draft class and is more under the radar at the moment. He will depend on where he gets drafted, but should he go to a desirable team, he could be a sleeper in fantasy.

TreVeyon Henderson (Ohio State)

He never got the workhorse role in college, but this guy is built to handle one. He has good size and speed, combined with efficiency. Should he land on the right team, he could be elite and a fantasy stud.

Wide Receivers

Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona)

McMillan led Arizona with impressive receiving stats, showcasing his ability to stretch the field and make contested catches. With his size, he could be a nightmare for defenders to guard, with guys like Nico Collins and Drake London being excellent on the contested catch. Should he go to the Panthers, McMillan could see WR1 target volume right away.

Emeka Egbuka (Ohio State)

Egbuka's precise route running and reliable hands contributed to a productive college career. Egbuka could hit the ground running in 2025, primarily playing out of the slot, which is suitable for fantasy to get more targets and opportunities.

Quarterbacks

Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss)

Dart is one of the dual-threat quarterbacks coming out of this draft, showing he can get it done in the passing and running games. His draft stock has really skyrocketed over the last few months, and he could hit the ground running in 2025.

Jalen Milroe (Alabama)

Milroe is one of the dual-threat quarterbacks coming around in this draft. Although he had more of a down year in 2024, he has shown in the past that he can be efficient and has a rushing upside with the 726 rushing yards he put up in 2024.

Tight Ends

Tyler Warren (Penn State)

Warren had an outstanding 2024 campaign with 1233 receiving yards, showing his receiving ability as a tight end. Teams like the Jets or the Colts could use a strong, tight end in the receiving game, and Tyler Warren could become the security blanket for a Quarterback in the passing game.

Conclusion

This is not everyone of course, but these are just some of the names we are monitoring otherwise this list would go on forever. After the draft, we will come back with more insights to see potential sleepers for fantasy football 2025.
